Dubai’s investment in South Florida has historically focused on real estate, particularly with the Dubai-based DAMAC Properties acquiring the Surfside condominium collapse site in 2022 to build a luxury residential project. Beyond real estate, a 2025 sister city agreement between Miami and Dubai aims to foster investment in tech, innovation, and trade, making the UAE Florida’s largest Middle Eastern trade partner.
